Hey guys, I just purchased a low hour 1994 Ebbtide Dynatrack 178 powered by a 1994 Yamaha 115hp (C115). It starts quickly and runs smooth and strong. Pees great. The motor is set up for premixed fuel. Could someone clarify for me what the proper fuel mix ratio is. I thought 50:1 but the original owner is saying 16:1? I've only used the fuel onboard that he mixed before I purchased it and it runs great. Could 16:1 be correct? Wouldn't it smoke like crazy? Thanks for any input.

Some might say 16 ounces to 1 tank.-------Others say 50:1.-----Some say 2% mix.---------Run at a ratio of 50 parts gasoline and 1 part oil.

50:1 is right.. maybe he meant 60, not 16? haha.

And if you're wondering, synthetic is fine to use.

Thank you for clearing that up for me, Racerone and rejesterd. I appreciate your knowledge! I'm sure I will have more questions as I use this (new) old boat!
