Hey All,

I have a brand new boat with a 2006 Mercury 115HP 4-stroke.

The Dealer suggested adding Fuel Stabilizer year around for every gallon of fuel.

I found in the iboats.com store that there are many types of additives, stabilizer, cleaner, conditioner, etc..

I was hoping to get some input from those with the knowledge...

What additives should I be adding to my fuel tank? It's a 27g tank, I fill it up every time it gets down to 3/4 full..

Thanks,

-TheChad

Stabiliser for every gallon? You mean "every tank" right? Stabil is a well known fuel stabiliser...but why every tank? Anyway, it certainly wouldn't harm anything. Most folks use it for winter storage in the fall to keep the fuel fresh.

Every Gallon.

In other words, If I add 4 gallons to top off the tank, add fuel Stabilizer to treat 4 gallons..

That's what the dealer I purchased the boat from suggested.

When I went to purchase another bottle from the local marine shop, the guy there suggested, adding fuel conditioner durning the months of use, and then fuel stabilizer durning the winter...

-TheChad
