Re: new control many problems help!
Welcome to iboats.

Since you just bought them, the problem could be in eihter the motor or the control. New controls should have been tested before they were boxed, but I suppose one can slip by with a problem, or you could've pinched a wire during installation. I'd concentrate on the motor.

There is a magnetic switch on the bottom of the oil tank with two blue wires. Disconnect one of the blue wires and see if the alarm stops. The floats in those tanks like to fail and you have to replace the tank to fix the problem. You can't just get a float. I don't think you could get at it if they were available separately anyhow.

The kill circuit wire is black with a yellow stripe. Look on the motor and see if it is disconnected somewhere. In other words, for both of those problems, look at the motor first. I'd be suprised if either problem was in the control, especially the beep beep beep. If the alarm sounded from a problem in the box, it would have a steady beeeeeep. The not stopping thing...that could be in the control.

Just one more thing. If you remove the fuel supply and let the motor run, it still pumps full oil as it starves for gas. You may want to drain the carbs before you run it again. The mixture in the bowls is probably pretty rich with oil right now.
