ok, i got a 79 18' thundercraft with a 140hp merc on it, an older guy had it since new and never really used it. the engine compartment was so clean you could have eaten off the floor or the motor. the guy just wanted to get rid of it so i took it off his hands. all i have done is buff it out, and now need to winterize it. where can i get an owners manuel for this boat, and for the engine? i plan on bringing it up to eagle lake and leaving at the lodge that we stay at.(we use our motorhome to get there and stay, don't feel like taking it back and forth.) it will be covered completely when we are not there. it will get used one week in june and then in september. anything i should do or have the lodge people do with this? i am getting rid of the lounge seats and installing 2 pedestal seats for extra room. any advice? thanks in advance bob

Welcome to iboats.....:)

Here is a free OEM link to your engine/drive.....
You want #3.....
#6 will be helpful as well.....
Never use a Seloc or Clymer's as they often either are missing critical info or offer stuff that is just plain wrong....;)
Look in the 'search' function here for some pointers on resurrecting an engine that has sat around awhile......:)
