New here and New to the water, I have a question about trim guages

I have a 1996 200 Hp Johnson venom gt outboard, i want to hook up a trim guage and need help in doing so, I am going to order up a manual for this motor, but want to put the trim guage in sooner than later. Thanks for any help I may get.

i personally never use a trim guage, you can feel when the boat is right.

Most useless gauge on a boat, except for a pontoon where you can't always see the engine. A trim gauge installs like any other gauge. Drill the hole, insert and mount the gauge. It takes +12V and ground, and the send wire from the sender on the engine. The sender may already be installed on the engine. +12V and ground are available from any of the other gauges. If the gauge has a light, that terminal can also be connected to any other gauge with a light.

I agree that it is a worthless guage, but i have an empty spot on my dash and a plug looks stupid. its the only guage i could put in there.

put a water pressure gauge on it .if it doesnt have one ,or fuel flow meter
there popular now with the gas prices like they are
