All - <br /><br />My new tach works (thanks to Seahorse) and says the following about my new prop:<br /><br />With New 14 x 23 Prop<br />------------------------<br /> WOT = 5300<br /> Max speed = 42<br /><br />Engine spec says 'full throttle operating range' = 5000 to 6000.<br /><br />Since spec says 5000 to 6000, should I shoot for the upper end of this range to get more RPMs and hopefully more speed? Or will my dealer say I am within spec since my boat running WOT at 5300? <br /><br />Old 13 x 19 Prop<br />----------------<br /> WOT = rev limiter, assumed 6300<br /> Max speed = 33<br /><br />djohns19 - I will call and ask just that.
