The Saturn guys have a new boat on the site call MARS and there is only a 12ft version. It's cheaper than the others so I'm thinking it might not be quite as good as a Saturn and also by a different manufacturer. The bonus that I spot is it has another foot of inside floor length that is nice and also the wood floor which I'm thinking I'm leaning more towards right now. Honestly I will probably only use it a dozen times a year if that so at that price if I get 3-4yrs out of it I'd be plenty happy.

If Saturn offers a fully warraty go for it. The Euro style bow that could be round or square is better than the point nose versions, less bow space. Being a wooden floor version with standard 0.9 mm pvc fabric not an issue.

My buddy has one of these. Decent boat. Not much really different from my Saturn raft. Im not crazy about the wood floor so I drag him out on my girl ;)

Check with Saturn if possible to barter a alum floor instead of the standard wooden floor that comes with that model.

I dont know why everyone is shying away from the zodiac zoom 350s. I have it and it does everything the saturn does and d efen der has it for 699. It holds up to a 20hp ob and its a 11.6 in size

Weimed,

Zodiac inflatables in the good old days used to be very expensive, now being made in PRCH are affordable, at that price is a excellent alternative to Saturns, Mercs and other brands as well. OP should consider it too taking into consideration that a Zoom expert boater is recommending it.

Actually I saw it was on sale and called and got a shipping quote of $200-$250 for the zoom 350s which makes the price a little closer. If I'm correct the MARS has a additional foot of floor space in length which is quite a bit. Dunno still on the fence on upgrading or sticking it out another year on my 12ft kaboat.

Also note weimed I watched all your videos yesterday again debating that exact purchase in my head. Maybe I should just pull the trigger.
