A couple of pictures of the newest member of our family. She's a Rott./Bernice Mountain Dog mix. Born December 24th. We've had her since Sunday night. Wifes already got her house trained! We've never had anything but German Shephards. Hopefully shes going to be a good dog. The other dog in the picture is Sam, she's our three year old shephard. The old man of the family, Scout, was in the house. He worked all night!

Your Shepard is in for a big surprise as that pup grows, 'cause its going to be big!

On the photos, I think they are just about right for 600 x 480. I usually size mine to 600 x 400 and yours are pretyy close to what mine usually look like.

very cute pup. looks liek the shephard is a good surrogate there playing with the new kid.

i think our poodle is still wondering why her new pup wound up being 50 or more pounds heavier then her. LOL

Her name is Macy. I'm not sure, but I think my wife named her that because it's her favorite place to shop! Thanks for all the comments. She's a really good pup so far. She's learning her name and hasn't had an accident since Monday night.

Posted this in February. Macy's been on the boat twice now. First time went great, loved it! Second time didn't go so well. She vomited twice . We think she was eating apples in the back yard before we left for the lake. The picture is from the first trip (by the way, she has a doggy pfd, we were just pulling out and hadn't put it on yet).

Posted this on here several months ago. Macy turned six months old a few weeks ago. I made the appointment to get her spayed. When I went to pick her up last Saturday she was dead in her cage. When it comes to my animals, I'm like a little kid. I was excited to go pick her up. I get off at 7 am and the vet opens at 8, so I was waiting at the door when he got there. He said he's not sure what happened, it's rare. He thinks that she either had a heart attack or a blood clot that made it to her brain. My wife and kids are devastated (me too for that matter). Macy had turned into a he!! of little pup. She was easy to train and listened well. The hardest part is how attached my daughter became to her. My daughter has C.P. and is in a chair. She can't walk or talk. If you didn't know where Macy was, it was a pretty good bet that she was laying beside Britney's chair. Sad time for the whole family. I took her to be cremated. We plan on spreading her ashes on the farm. She loved running around our farm with our German Shepherd, Sam, chasing her.

Reading the whole post from top to bottom, you got my heart with such a cute pup. Then to have it broken at the end. Very sorry to hear the bad news. In December of 02 our beloved dog Bear was poisined by glycol. We know what it is like to have such a healthy dog to become fatal news.

I'm sure you are already looking for a new pup and good luck on your adventure..........SS
