New noise

[Regalpower]

4.3 l volvo penta SX ...1900 regal lsr. Its always intresting to see what if any changes happened to the boat/engine over the winter. Seems that when I open the throttle all the way, wither right out of the hole or when already plained I hear a chatter. when I back off a bit, it stops. I was thinking it may be a timing chain? If anybody could direct me to an online manual to repair it that would be great.

Just started after sitting, I would start with bad/water contaminated gas, or restricted fuel flow.

Check out the adults only section for some great info on troubleshooting your fuel system.
