I'm absolutely brand new to boats, i have the opportunity to buy an older boat with Johnson 65 on it and a trailer for a few hundred $. The boat hasn't been started in about 3 years, and it wasn't winterized. The owner said it ran fine when he parked it.
What should i be checking and looking for on the engine and the boat during the inspection? Any other suggestions will be appreciated.
