New old stock Quicksilver prop okay to use?

I ordered several props recently from QS and Merc and all have what I "think" is the date code on the boxes. However, one of them has a date code on the box (if I am correct that number is the date code) from 2007. Box design has changed some but little compared to the others (no QR code on it), and when physically comparing this prop to what should be the same from 2021 (factory take-off black max), they appear identical (other than the pitch).

1.) How can I confirm production date of this prop
2.) Should it be identical to a more recent production of the same model/part number (alloy strength, cup design, etc)
3.) Should I run it if I either determine it is new-old stock or if I can't determine that at all?

It is a QS black diamond...and in good shape, seems fine but blades to "seem" thinner than the newer black max, spitfire, and nemesis props I ave that I believe are all circa 2021-2025 produced. But none of these are the same diameter/pitch as this one.

Thx!

I’m pretty sure all those props are bad now.
Ozone has degraded the integrity of the metal and they will likely turn to dust if you use them.

Seriously, they are fine.
I have several 35 and 40 year old props that work fine.

Every brand and model line will be a little different, thinner, thicker, cupped, etc.

The only props that will be the same are the ones with identical part numbers.

The “date codes” on the boxes are likely copyright dates for the info printed on the boxes.

It looks fine, I'm gonna run it...upgraded 50hp merc to 60hp and trying to find its best legs. 13p was now under-propped so I tried 14p (4 blade) and it ran good but could still get rpm up too high trimmed up...might run 4 blade when I need to, but I'm jumping to 15p 3 blade to see if I can get similar rpm to the 13p black max did w/ 50hp on this boat. I really hope I don't have to drop another 200 bucks for a 16p haha!
