Was not happy with the engine performance at tight turns, excesive cavitation due to the transom being 46 cm height with a Tohatsu engine that works perfect with 40 cm heights, so in pursuit of cruising perfection decide to cut the transom down. With a very precise surgical operation, have lowered my transom to 40.5 cm. re arranged the open cut with fiberglass, resin and paint, front, rear engine plates edges have been raised to match same transom final height, now much thicker than before. Engine is now integrated into transom's cut matching exactly engine's width, nothing to center, just place and secure.
