new timing belt

so the local outboard place here is trying to charge me thirty bucks for a used timing belt, isnt that a little spendy? its for a fat fifty.

well they only charged me 20 bucks for a brand new one, i didnt have the actual part number when i emailed them so maybe mine was a cheaper one. good news for me

Lucky you. I paid around $50 for a belt for my Speedifour. The good news is, it's probably the last one you'll need to buy unless you try to tighten the distributor pulley nut with the belt on.
