Re: new to the site with questions

do these boats have a junction box that all the wires positive and neg connect from the battery then get branched off to the switches and radio? my radio is surging for power and i think there is a bad ground somwhere, also when you turn on any accessory i.e the dock lights, nav lights, the radio will shut off and turn back on...

Your boat should have a fuse panel. The positive and negative terminals of the battery have #8 or #10 gauge wire running to this panel. From there, each circuit has a fuse and a switch is necessary, then to the device. Sounds like the connections at the battery or fuse panel are loose or corroded. "Looking" at these connections is not a valid check. Disconnect them, clean them thoroughly and then reconnect.

In almost all pontoon boats, it would be under the helm.

Re: new to the site with questions

I should have clarified, the fuses would be under the helm. I was working on my helm this weekend and all my fuses are inline as part of the harness
