We tried some of this stuff (my not be exact same product but looks the same and same chemistry) at work a while back for trays in our dryer. All the chemists at work were gitty when we got the first test tray in and saw the water just running around and right off it. I walked up took my finger and made a big X in the center of the tray, the water no longer ran off that spot. Really pissed off the chemists since I rained on their party, but I work in the real world where handling and usage is normal. Would work great for electrical components in panels and hidden compartments.

Its like any other new product. Give them a few years or so and see what they come up with.
