Not exactly a "This Old House" detailed step by step video but I picked up a lot of info on custom designs. That will be needed for the new yellow and red flames that go on the sides.

The ones on the Batboat now are vinyl decales. Blah!

The amount of paint I'll need for the red and yellow flames is not much.

Easypoxy's Yellow is $40 a quart and I'll use a fraction of that.

Is there a high quality paint that I can get less than a quart of?

Good morning Darren!

If you intend on doing flames etc...... use the same brand and type of paint for all the work. I would not mix cheaper paints with the good stuff.

Okay. Its Easypoxy all the way, then. Thanks!

I am going to have a great deal of yellow left over. Is there a way to keep this from going bad in the can for, say, a couple of years? Easypoxy says nothing about shelf life in their PDF files.

(I have lots of room in the fridge! )

I am getting ready to flip the boat over.

Just tested a spot of paint stripper on the latex paint. It made the gel coat soft!!! I can dig into it with my fingernail.

Now what. I paid $20 for this stuff!
