Bump............. Howdy fello WV iboater............

How'd it go Labor Day w/ the folks?

Gotten the hang of navigating into the slip?

Pulled the boat for the season yet?

I can get the boat in and out of the slip without major issues now. I found the put it in gear for 2-3 sec and then back to neutral really helped. Also how to use reverse properly to align the boat.

Took the boat out this weekend and it generally went well. I had a little issue since I raised the motor up way too far out and had all kinds of issues controlling the boat. The second time around I didn't raise it up until I was lined up and much closer. It helped I went down early with no one around except for 2 guys on a bass boat throwing lures around the marina.

Now I just need to get the boat cleaned, winterized, and get it into the garage. I have less than an inch on either side so it will be an adventure

Hi I’m also new. Nothing like backing up about 100 times just to find out it’s wrong ... so I put a hitch on the front and push it in much easier and you can see what you are doing. Yeah takes a few minutes to in hook and rebook but it’s good feeling to know you can do last minute alignments and line it up with the dock just inches away. If there is not a receiver bar for your car weld one on . ... trust me you won’t be sorry
