Wow...tough Crowd. You can pull the "eye" right up to the bottom of the roller and stop it there. The bow rides on the roller as pull it onto the trailer. In calm waters, you can glide the boat up close to the roller, hook up the winch, and pull it up to the roller while your driver assists in the throttle. Trim up, motor off, and pull off of the ramp.

Please do not be one of these people that decide they need to unload the boat on the launch, go to a staging area and let other get in and out of the water.

Also, may I suggest a bow strap to keep your bow from bouncing on the roller while trailering.

Regarding the grammar, spelling, etc. Who the hell cares, we're talking about boating here, not writing a senior thesis. Regarding a Wench, yes, by all means, make sure to have a good bar wench, it is essential.

Oh Yea, by the way, don't let anyone fool you, we've all had issues at the ramp before. Its not if, its when!! Anyone that says they haven't is not speaking the truth.

So what about trailers that do not have a roller but have a V bow stop instead?

Treat it the same as if it had a roller.

BTW,
The OP could have a dual or tandem style bow roller setup that pivots like mine.
Whereas there is a roller above and below the bow eye when boat is loaded.

Without pictures it is hard to say but a similar Instance occurred on my jet ski...the bow eye would not line up with the trailer pin. I soon realized it was because the trailer was in the water on an angled ramp. So the back of the ski was floating off the trailer while the bow was on the trailer...this made the bow eye much lower on the winch post until I brought the trailer just out of the water, the ski rotated back into the correct height/position.

I am by no means an expert but maybe that is causing some alignment issues.

i will start off by saying this much. the hull design is more liks a tri hull, the trailer has both bunks and rollers. what i am thinking is happening is that bow stop(in this case for right now is a roller, and that will be getting changed) is way to high when the back of the boat is floating, but when i oull boat out of the water and it settles on the trailer then it is at the right height. now with that being said i did make an height adjustment on that roller and put it above the bow eye so it dont get hung up any more. what i am thinking about doing is adding a keel roller closer to the front of the hull to help in raising the bow up once it get closer to the stop. and one have any thought on this.

ps by the way not all of us are collage professors that teach english and grammor. escuse me if english was not a stronge class for in school but i didn't give up, i did stick through it, and did pass. and i did attempt to go back and edit it and tried to put the correct wording in it(winch ion place of wrench)must not of worked

Don't worry about the Grammer, the issue is getting useful information!
