Next to boats.......

Okay, all of us here are into boats, but besides boats, what is your next hobby/interest? <br /><br />My other hobbies that take up some of my time are: video games, computers and woodworking.<br /><br />What do you guys like to do when you can't go boating?

<br /><br />The second pix is day befour yesterdays find the long one is double notched , first we ever found like it, the jars across the mantle are pieces of points, I have hunted them all my life, but this collection is from my older son and I in the last 10 years or so. Thier is lots of white man rellics on the wall that dont show in the photo.

If I cant be fishing from a boat or boating then fishing up and down the banks of any stream/creek or small river. Plan on getting plenty wet! <br /><br />All mentioned above except metal working. Dont have the tools or skill.<br /><br />Making and flying kites of all types.<br />From one the size of your hand to 25 footers that will take you anywhere you want without touching the ground Like them all.<br /><br />Most things that go BANG! Black powder to modern.<br />Building small fire crackers <br />Better if you can set them 150 yards away and shoot them to make them go BANG! <br /><br />Building antenna's<br />Amateur radio in general.<br /><br />Messing with our cats.<br />Wax the kitchen table real good.<br />Watch them jump up on it, slide all the way across and fall off the other side.<br /><br />They then do the little "cat" shake, like I MEANT to do that! LOL

I'm a rock- flippin artifact hunter like heycods (I'll post pix later), fishing, flea marketing, phustrated photograper, but my favorite is grandparenting.

Some stuff I do in my off time. Have around 200 or so. Some more ships that are not seen. Couple frigates that were a bear to get together. One old one had over 100 cannons on it. <br />The AC was a tough one also with the elevators and stuff. <br />

That is a very nice water garden you have there. At one time wayyyy back in the dark ages I thought of doing something like that but never got round to doing it. Now maybe I will start something like yours.

For me staying busy is important, if I sit around and watch TV I start to get miserable and my wife know this and will encourage to start a new projects. {Not honey do's} I start them on my own and finish them quickly<br /><br />In order of most favorite hobby.<br /><br />Fishing {Any where any time}<br /><br />Hunting {Mostly birds. Deer & Moose when my Dad was alive}<br /><br />Boats {Fixing them up}<br /><br />Cars {Keeping them on the road}<br /><br />Fly Tying {Just learning}<br /><br />Music {just listening when doing other hobby things}<br /><br />Vintage stereo equipment {Just love hunting down old stuff from the penny saver and other places}<br /><br />Kids sports {They're too old for minor sports now but for eleven years we chased them all over the country with travel hockey}<br /><br />Heycods I like those arrow heads. sans
