I honestly feel for you mattttt25 - I wasn't even cheering for the Eagles and I was POd at them. McNabb's receivers let him down big time. They dropped lots of balls that would have gone for first downs. The defense forgot how to tackle!How did 6 of them let that guy in the end zone! Hey Carp, Actually he isn't dating her but The Donald is trying to get him to date her. He does an inerview every Monday on the radio and they asked him about it and Tom laughed. He doesn't even know who she is Then they did some digging and found out Trump was trying to set the whole thing up He was at the Titan's game... I think he wanted to lobby Tom in person

I'm also going to go with the Cats, As physical as they played on sunday I really think they have a chance to win it. And since the Birds Choked again I really don't care so I'll root for the underdog.

Early word is he is fine and will play (esp w/ the 2 weeks to heal) Don't sell his replacement (Larry Izzo short) He is good. He is the guy that intercepted the Bledsoe pass in the end zone the last game of the season to preserve the shutout.<br /><br />Lots of chatter about the Cats being like the Pats a few years ago. I think they are more like the Pats that played against the Packers. I think they are doing their celebrating now and will be less than ready to beat the Pats on game day. Not enough experience to overcome all the pressure of the next two weeks and the bright lights of the game. This is the second time around (at least) for the Pats and some vetrans (ike Rodney Harrison, 1 INT, 1 Forced fumble, 1 big fine probably for that launching hit) who came here just to win a ring. The Pats held the two MVPs to 14 pts each, what are they going to do to Jake? <br /><br />Yesterday could have easily been a blowout (instead of 5FG they could have had 5TDs). The thing about the Pats, once they have a lead, they focus more on not turning over the ball than they do scoring TDs JMHO.

That is the initial talk - no flag because no helmet contact but they still think the launching alone is going to get him fined. Last night, Brady said Rodney played for free <br /><br />That Pats don't blow people out by design unless there is an issue (like revenge against Buffalo)

I dunno man, if I'm a DB and someone goes up to catch the ball and exposes himself, he's gonna get hurt. It makes him think twice about going up there again to catch the ball. Ronnie Lott made a living punishing people like that.<br /><br />My wife thinks Tom is a cutie too, but she thinks Adam Vienateri is a stud.<br /><br />I read in ESPN The Magazine when Tom goes out, he has some of the other players go with him just to keep the ladies off of him. Rich, young, single and good looking, I wish I had those kind of problems.

In all honesty Carp, he is every Mother's dream. You never hear about him whooping it up or dating like you did even Drew. This kid is a humble as they come. I'm sure he dates but you wouldn't know it. He does not leave the Razor until 8pm or so each night. All he cares about right now, it getting that ring. Not just for himself but for his team mates. This kid is just too good to be true. I know it sounds like BS but we have had 3 years to get to really know this kid and he has never once said anything derogatory or arrogant or done anything to descredit his team. I think that is why BB was willing to embrace him and cut Drew so quickly.

I don't want to turn this into just a Pats discussion so let me just say this, against the Cats the Pats will do what the Pats do. Not much chance to lay the wood on people with the short passing game at the sidelines. When the Cats bring their DBs up to try to take that away, that's when the Pats will go deep and burn them big. That is how the Pats have been doing it all season. You blitz or play up and guys like Johnson, Brown and Givens are going to zip by you and head for the end zone. Then you get scared and start playing off and the Mudder Antowain Smith is going to break some big ones (just like yesteday)

don't get too excited now Ralph ... the cats have<br />a very good running game and Delhomme had the highest<br />QB rating in the NFC this year.<br />more important, they are willing to grind it out,<br />play time of posession/field position game.<br />both very conservative coaches.<br />whoever flinches (turnovers) will lose this close<br />game.

Have to agree with ya Ralph, I have never heard a negative word about Brady. In the interviews, he really seems down to Earth and intelligent. <br /><br />Unlike a lot of professional athletes these days, he just quietly does his job very well.<br /><br />He is definetly a class act, .........one of the reasons I don't root against the Pats. Also one of the reasons I like the Titans, for the most part, they are a classy team with a classy coach also.<br /><br />I believe the Pats have too many weapons on both sides of the ball for Carolina to win.

I thought Delhomme only had the highest rating in the NFC during the playoffs? He only averages, what, 15 pass attempts a game? The only game the cats have is the run. If the Pats shut down the run, it is gonna be a long day for the Cats.

yea i dont know right off hand, but if i were to guess daunte culpepper probably had the highest regular season qb rating. <br />ralph, your all over it bud! there is no way carolina's db's can match up to new englands wr's, and i believe the o-line will give brady enough time to burn them, they are a very underrated o-line.......14 points! could be more, depending on how fast they get them and how conservative they get.
