Re: NFL - Week 8

Bradshaw made a good point about the NFL adding more games in London next year when LA, the second largest city in the US not having an NFL team.

I guess I don't see the correlation between LA not having a team for the reasoning to have more games in London???? For one, I think it's a little silly having games overseas. Unless there is another motive. Is the NFL trying to go worldly like soccer and they're putting out feelers in London?

Is there more to the story? I guess I'm having a tough time reading between the lines......I'll apologize in advance....

Well what about the London Bobbies? I just don't understand the fascination the NFL has with playing in London.

Best possibility is the LA Jaguars unfortunately. Maybe LA Chargers.

Ooops, I did an edit instead of a reply on your post initially....

Now, since we're building a new stadium. A year or so ago there was a bunch of chatter about it.....

I know we discussed this last year but you said that a new agreement was all set in stone. Have things changed?

The agreement is still there as of today. The owners did get into an illegal money mess. Not supposed to affect the stadium... Time will tell...

How old is the current stadium? The GA Dome is 20 years old and will be replace with a monstrosity in 2-3 years.

As you saw it's going on 32 years. Yeah, it's time....... To be honest, I can't believe it's been that long. Where did those years go????

The Ford family has been thinking for years about selling the Detroit Lions. They keep the team as a tax write-off; They surely don't care about whether they win or lose! William Clay Ford, Edsel's youngest son, owns the team to this day.

The name "Los Angeles Lions" works real well-

For the first time ever MNF and a World Series game was hosted by the same city. St. Louis lost.

So is Angus! Helped make him the week's top performer. :thumb:

I sure would like to see some NY Giant TD's instead of 5 field goals! Also I need to change my Depends on every kick return!!!! I have a bye week now to winterize the vessel and reunite with the family after a long fall fishing season.
