ngk or champs

normaly i run Ql77jc4 on my 1989 110 evi and i run 5500 Rpm on a 20' mako.<br />last week i bought new sparkplugs and they told me to use ngk br9hs.<br />i did try the ngk's and at wot i was running close to 5600 rpm.<br />how can this happen?

reeldutch,<br />That is interesting even if it is only 100 RPM's.(or less).True test is to put new champs in and retry.<br /> Maybe less water in the hull?Some barnicles fell off? GRIN.<br />DHP

i'm going to put new champs in because i always used them without problems. i will let you know how it turned out. the only thing different is that i repainted the lower unit. must have less drag. Haha
