A nice looking '71 w/6cyl, gold interior, no hardtop mentioned but probably had one at one time based on snaps on sides and stern was sold at the Mecum Classsic Car Auction in Kissimee Fl. for $2100. It is now on evil bay . It was relisted this week after a no sale-reserve not met at $3250 last Monday.

I am still looking for one like it but not on eb**

oldrod. here's a place that multiple ads for AristoCrafts show up. like the gold one yer talking about now. agreed, nice looking boat but i'd be suspect of a few things just from the pics. like the glue around the gimble housing on the back of the boat. the nice black drive. rub rail on port side aft looks like it's been crashed a few times. no hardtop. is it me, or does the carpet inside the gunnels look green to you? my carpet it green inside the gunnels, but my boat is green. ya'd think a gold one would have gold.. maybe it's just the pic.. rubber fuel hose going to the carb ain't uscg approved. + it's on ebay. agreed. pass.
at that site mash i've seen some nice boats go thought there over time. some not so nice ones too.....

last summer there was a brown ninteen here in lincoln for sale. don't know if it sold, but hasn't been advertised as of late. ya didn't want that one though. it had an omc drive + custom interior that looked nice but covered up both gunnel storage and high back bucket seats in the back so no aft curtain would work...

good luck in your hunt.

Re: Nineteen Sold at Mecum now on Ebay

Ziggy, saw the rub rail, definitly something that would have to be replaced but it is over 40 years old, the nice shiny stern drive, a can of black spray paint- I expect that from a detailer for any vehicle going to an auction and this one went through the Mecum auction. Mecum has collector car auctions all over the country so I would expect it to be highly detailed.

As far as the carpet in the gunnel storage area, that is correct for that color nterior, however the carpet on the deck is not, the original carpet was similar in texture to a pool table covering or felt just heavier.also the outside arm rests are brown and do not match the rest of the interior. My knowledge is based on the fact that I bought a new Aristocraft 19 with the Gold interior. Not my favorite color but the price was right as an end of the season close out.

Unfortunatley I only have one picture of it now and that is with it fully enclosed, soft top. I haven't posted it because I haven't taken the time to learn how.

Would not want a tan or brown hull, white or one of the blue hulls would be fine.

Royal Scott, we kept our original Aristocraft in a slip at Grider Hill docks on Cumberland for close to five years. Close to Albany Ky. Went to State Docks and made many cruises to Burnside, Nice long runs, more fun than runnning around in circles. Lake dropped one year to the level that we were off the concrete at the ramp and at least a car and trailer length into the gravel. I guess the Corps of Engineers still has problems with the dam.

Would be interested if it were closer, still looking, a series of unfortunate events this summer made in impossible to buy one of several suitable boats. Now that season is heading into the last weeks, I am free to look again. Stuff happens.
