Greg.... Yes, I know it's at the bottom of the intake manifold and that it's brass. Perhaps I wasn't clear enough in my explanation as to where the hose goes that's supposed to be on it.<br /><br />There is a black face plate assy attached to the front of the carburetors. On the back of that face plate, at the bottom of it, on the same side as the electric starter, there is a plastic fitting that is part of the face plate.<br /><br />A hose should be attached to the brass fitting you're speaking of, and the other end of that hose should be attached to the plastic fitting on that carb face plate assy.<br /><br />It is impossible to see the plastic fitting without removing and tilting the black plastic face plate forward.<br /><br />The purpose of the fittings and hose is to allow the excess fuel/oil mixture that might drip out of the carburetors, when the engine is tilted, to flow down into the lower main bearing area.
