no oil mixed, 20 hp john. 1980

forgot to mix oil and gas, motor idled for about 10 minutes before realizing it.<br />shut it down and mixed. will only run at part throttle, would this happen in such a short period of time at idle.<br />thanks for any help

Hopefully not. You may have gotten lucky and had a carbful of premix already in it. If you are that curious pull the head on it and inspect the cylinders. I would squirt a littly 24:1 premix in the cylinders and let it sit for a while or crank it a couple times with the plugs out and let it coat everything good. Then I would take it out and run the dog poo out of it and have a good time.
