no reverse on 85 horse force

ok on the lower unit theres a little shaft with a hole in it i asume a pin goes in it im not sure an above it theres like a L shaped rodd there these two are not touching any one think that is my problem now i notice if i pull the shaft with the hole in it up the prop spins freely by hand :

Yes...that is a problem..you will need a new pin and cotter pin to retain it in place.<br /><br />TMD
