Can someone help, I don't know a lot about boat motors so you will need to be patient. I tipped my boat, the motor was upside down in the water for about 5 minutes. It died after about 3 boat revolutions in the water, now I can't get any spark at all. My nephew is a mechanic and we have taken the flywheel off and it is clean and dry underneath. He has tested that the kill switch mechanisim is working ok. We suspect it may be an ignition coil. Can someone explain a few sure tests we can perform to isolate the problem.
