No Spark After Tilt Failure

got twin 1996 evinrude 115 ocean pros. was cruising along at near full throttle when the port motor died and kicked up rather violently. would not restart. looked down, the tilt cyinder had been cracked in the process and all the fluid leaked out. now i have no spark to that motor but it will turn over. always ran flawlessly before. is there any correlation to the tilt cylinder issue?

Did you hit an underwater obstruction? I would look for sign of impact on lower unit. check basics first fuel lines and connectors, fuses, kill switch. can you put the motor in neutral with ignition off turn flywheel by hand then try in gear is there binding or if its locked up you might have a major internal mechanical failure in power head and or lower unit.
