when first start a 1999 johnson 225 ocean pro all six cylinders fire ,after quick start stops (only a few seconds} no spark in one clinder.Had boat to two mechanics and 2000 dallors later still the same.New parts include two new power packs ,timing bass,coil packs,stator,plugs and wires.ANY IDEAS!

Something is missing in the symptoms.?

that is basicly what the mechanics said , the johnson rep said it might be a bad ground somewhere but none could be found.

Quickstart works through the temp sensors in the cyl head.
Remove and ground all plugs .
Disconnect port temp sensor and ground to block (alarm will drive you nuts on this one), this disables the quickstart feature.
Do a spark test.
No spark?
do it again without the temp sensor grounded.
See what happens.

If there was a flywheel problem they would have seen it when they did the stator.
