Re: no spark
Disconnect the red cannon plug (boat to engine wiring harness) and check spark again. You'll have to jump the starter solenoid. If you start the motor you won't have any way to shut it off other than flooding it so just check for spark. If you now have spark the issue is from the motor forward. Assuming the kill lanyard is hooked up it may be the key switch itself.
