Ok, I am trying to fiqure out what the problem is...is it the guage itself or the sender. I took the instrument panel off and tested the connection points with a light meter and all came on...some stronger than the other. I tested the wires from the battery to the thermocouple and had power there on both the raw water intake side and exhaust side. I know there is a way to ground the thermocouple wiring out to make the temp guage go to hot. Not too sure I was doing it properly because I never got the temp guage to move. I did use the light meter as a "wire" from the block to the thermocouple. Please advise me on how to ground this thermocouple wire out properly.
My guess is in all my fumbling...the temp guage is toast.
