Noob question for a Force 906X91C

So, if the motor isolator rubbers are shredded, will that mess up the shift adjustment or just let the powerhead/leg bang around in the housing and make noise?

Well, I'll fill the silence. Got some parts ordered - be here Thursday. We'll get it assembled and let the shifts fall where they may. Meant to ask though - are there any Force Service Manuals like Seloc or Clymer as online free scans like they have at boatinfo.no for Merc or OMC?
