Re: nopower

Gummed up carbs is one. Take them off and soak them, install new kits. Is the fuel fresh in a new tank? How about the fuel filter. I would also run a decarb agent through the carbs. New champion plugs will be good. Once again fresh 87 octane fuel at 50/1 mix.

Re: nopower

I would go after every drop of old fuel anywhere - lines, tank, fuel pump, filter, carbs as well as getting the carbs done.

You should also replace the plugs, water pump, & drain & refill the gear oil (new oil plug seals of course).

Re: nopower

If your engine seems to run out ok RPM-wise, chances are your prop has a spun-out hub.
