Have a 1978 evinrude 115hp outboard. Had it out on weekend and it just lost power about half as fast at full throttle, headed back to dock on way back it got full power back and then it was sporadic the rest of way. Checked wire screen and not clooged seems to be lots of gas pressure right up to where hoses go into what I'm assuming is fuel pump. It seemed like a fuel issue to me the way it was acting. If it was electrical would just quit?
