Hello All new to site . I just got an older outboard motor this past wkend given to me. not sure what it is. just had back surgry cann't move around enought to get any #'s off it yet. Name and all decals sanded off i guess to repaint.I think from some pics i found in net. that it might be an 35 hp johnson. cowling is hindged in middle crossways not long ways, pull and elec. start.has 3 or 4 knobs in front, been stored 15 yrs sprayed with wd 40 inside before stored, not locked up shifter on left side as looking at it from front. kind of a z design on sides. anyone that has photos of this type of motor or knowns them any help would be great. came with cable clip cables and shift lever.
