looking forward to getting on plane again!

drain it for winter and do not let it eat sand and you will get on plane again . the 3.0 made a lot of happy days on the water for me and it deserves respect in care.

3.0 is one of the best gas engines ever used in boats, it hits the needs just fine at good fuel consumption, when those gas prices start soaring again you will see those sbc and v6 sitting in drive ways lol and 5 yrs from then you can buy them a dime a dozen locked up :) odd thing is i see way more blown up v6 engines then i do 3.0 or sbc.

Final report, 2 hours of use yesterday, running a cool 160F at WOT, stayed at about 3000 RPM most of the afternoon because tech said to take it easy for about 2-3 hours for the components to break in. Great job by my local marine repair.
