A firefighter who lost his leg in an accident back in 2001 has managed to successfully rejoin the fire service.<br /><br />BBC reports the story here <br /><br />The artifical limb has been tested for strength and heat resistance.<br /><br />This is one guy who definitely shows the true meaning of grit and determination.

thank you for sharing that great story, we just got back from our 12th call its 0521 and im tired and fussy so i hit iboats for a fix and read this story and i think to myself,"get your big ole bu$$ back on that truck and go to work! mr parker is a true firefighter from the inside out. Braxton
