I want to remove and clean my o2 sensor and wanted to know if you guys could tell me what size o2 wrench to use?

The motor is a 2003 Yamaha 200 hp EFI Saltwater Series.

Re: o2 Sensor

use the o2 sensor removal tool from yamaha and a torque wrench and the service manual for reinstallation. you will also need the test harness and a DVM for testing after cleaning.
also look at the tech bullitens on cleaning and testing, the flame test is useless and no longer reccomended.

Rodbolt,

Thanks for the quick reply. How much does the dealer charge for the o2 wrench. Not looking to go cheap, but Sears and other auto stores might have the same size for a few dollars less. 8)

Thanks Bucktail

Re: o2 Sensor

I think I paid 26 dollars for mine.
as the O2 sensor is a basic 4 wire sensor I imagine some other tool would work. dont know never tried.
