I want to purchase a repair manual for my 1975 25hp Johnson Seahorse but wanted to know if Clymer is the best. I found it for $30 and another manual (not Clymer) for $20. If i should purchase the Clymer is $30 the average price or can i find it for less on the net or locally. :)

Re: OB Repair Manual

Hello
30 Bucks is about going price for a manual. I feel all the manuals that I have seen are about equal. It really dosen't matter what you pay for a manual you will save the cost of it on your first repair.

Yes, All those places are good. They may be a little closer to $35. though. You might also try your public library sometimes they will have a copy. This time of year they are popular reading though.

I went the E-Bay route. $15 for a mint condition OMC service manual.

It's worth the wait!

Ken
