Obtaining HIN in Illinois

Hello,<br /><br />I recently acquired an old hull from a junkyard as is with no title for free with the hopes of restoring it. Before we started working on it, I noticed that there wasnt a HIN anywhere on it. How do I go about applying for a HIN number in Illinois so I can get this thing titled? <br /><br />Thanks for your help.
