I have a alpha gen 2 that is leaking drive fluid but I don’t understand how because of there the leak is. The fluid is coming out from where the outboard is mounted to the transom. There are no wet hoses or fittings anywhere that I can find. I followed the hose from the reservoir to the inside of the outdrive the from the outside of the outdrive and never found a leak. Is there something between the two haves that is leaking?

If the leak isn't external (on the outside of the drive), then you also have a failed transom seal. Is there gear oil inside the boat?

No there isn’t any oil in the boat. I even pulled the plug to make sure. Filled the reservoir back up and 24hrs later is was empty and had new fluid running down the outside of the transom.

That would lead me to believe the hose or fitting is broken that goes to the drive.

Yeah. Is there oil still in ther header tank for gear oil ? I’d say your fitting is sheared between the drive and the tank. Usually happens when it’s been pulled off by a silly mechanic

I have searched high and low for oil and can’t find where it’s coming from. Yesterday I sprayed everything with degreaser and washer it all down the. Filled the reservoir about 50%. In 12 hrs the reservoir was empty and the only place I could find oil was coming out between the outdrive and transom.

  Those bellows need changing NOW!

These abrasion marks are VERY close to going through....

And while you have it all in pieces, maybe you'll find that oil leak.
