Oem 583601

looking for this wiring harness, know it is dicontinued. can it be pieced together? for johnson '88, model J25ECCM motor. Dad says I can have it if i get it running. mouse damage in the pole barn, low hour motor worth trying. any and all help appreciated.

How bad is the damage?
Start by getting a wiring schematic so that you at least know what the function of the specific wires is.

I have spliced the main harness together, with good results. good bullet connectors and heat shrink after you know it works.

thanks for even replying. first look, the damage is very bad. will try splicing if possible when I get it home. if not hope you all will stick with me. finally got rubber for the trailer to get it here. this site is impressive....
