In reading my service manual I see in some repair procedures that omc brand fluids, adhesives, and other lubes are recommended, as with all manufactures. My question is are there any alternitives to OMC "Adhesive M"
and OMC gasket sealing compound? I really dont feel like driving to the dealer and paying his prices for them, If they still exist in the Bombardier parts lineup, possibly under a different name?

"Adhesive M" is replaced in the BRP literature with 3M 847. Click the thumbnail for their reference:

Thanks, just ordered two tubes of the 847. Anything for the OMC "gasket sealing compound"?

I myself love the OMC Gasket Sealing Compound, with the brush built into the lid, and as far as cost goes, that little can will last you a lifetime, unless you have a large fleet that I do not know about.

Im sure the others are of equal quality, but I can only speak highly of the OMC product which I am familiar with.
