I'm thinking of buying a couple so the ladies have somewhere to sit when I take them out. My question is... Can you use these chairs while under way or just once you stop? I'm in need of a couple comfortable chairs but want to be able to store them in the cuddy when not in use. I like a wide open deck for fishing purposes. The boat only has 2 seats up front. Any other suggestions?

philtheskipper, here's one suggestion, try Iboats Mega mall, and then check K-Mart or Wal-Mart, they have folding sports chairs that are steel construction, strong (250lb rated), have 4 feet about the size of a dollar coin so they work in sand, comfortable, various colors of fabric, fold to a 5-6 inch round by 30 inch size for storage and come with a drawstring storage bag, best part, there cheap, got some from Sports Authority last summer, on sale, 2 for $8. I keep two in my car just in case I get near a beach, :)

Phil,
I have 2 of those heavy duty deck chairs. Been out in 4-5 footers in 26' walk around, all crew came forward under hardtop. Empty chairs never budged. Not cheap, I belive I paid about $170.00 each. I also put in cabin when fishing. Chairs are very comfortable.

Hope this helps.

Dave

A couple of different styles. I have the cheaper ones and they do a fine job on my rockin' pontoon boat. I imagine the more expensive ones would work even better.

web page

or

web page
