Oil change

I got 10 to 15 hrs on this oil it's black as coal, normal? Other than that I didn't see any thing alarming. I'm changing oil so soon because if the engine sits for an hour or more the no oil light and alarm comes on after starting, if I turn it off and start it back it goes away. So I changed oil sensor but it still does it , so I'm putting in Johnson/ evinrude oil and filter so hopefully that will fix it, I started it this morning and no alarm

I had a sierra filter and the silver oil from Walmart

I thought the rag was an iguana at first
Maybe the filter was letting enough oil through.

Typical symptom of not using an oil filter with an anti-drain back valve.
