This fall I plan on changing my engine oil. Does anyone have a recommendation for a good quality oil extraction system that would screw onto my dip stick threaded connection on the engine. Would I be better with an electric pump or going with a manual pump?
Thanks

you can make it as simple as a drill pump and a couple washing machine hoses ( I did this for years ) It's a happy medium between a manual pump and those pricey electric models..........
Because I like to build things I put together my own little pump station.......I had a old 15 gal keg so I made up a hose adapter to clamp to the keg using a 2" sanitary clamp. Then I soldered a 1/4 flare fitting in the top of the keg, mounted my vacuum pump and keg on a small dolly... roll it over hook up lines turn on vacuum pump and kick back.........made up a couple different adapters and use it on all my vehicles.........
When the keg gets near full I pay my 23 y/o a few bucks to run it to the recycler and dump it.......:D

I use one like this and has worked well. Don't use the screw on fitting, just use a hose clamp and put it on the end of the dip stick

Others use this type and have had good results. Both can be found here on iboats
