Oil/Gas Ratio

Bought a 1994 25 HP Evinrude, 2 Cycle. Is the ratio 50-1? Online calculator says 13 ozs of oil for 5 gals of gas. Bought a measuring cup at the Johnson/Evinrude dealer and it says 19 ozs of oil for 5 gals of gas. Who is correct? As always, a great site and thanks for your help.<br /><br />Glenn

50:1 is correct.<br />1 pint of TCW-3 oil per 6 gallons of gas<br /><br />A handy chart:<br /><br /> web page

Yes, 50:1<br />19 oz for 5 gallons would be 33:1. That's very strange, are you perhaps looking at the 32:1 graduations?
