I have twin 115's, and the right motor (F115TXRZ) Manuf. 11/2000 periodically leaks oil into the transom area of my Cobia 254CC. It does not do it all the time. It is noticeable when I return to the dock, tilt the motors out of the water, then when I return the next day a small amount of oil has leaked. It appears to be dripping off the brackets that hold the motor on the transom. It furhter appears to be coming onto the brackets from the base of the motor section housed inside the removeable cowling. I check the engine oil level every day, and it does not appear to be decreasing. What is causing the leak?

It isn't a hydraulic steering hose leak is it.

There is a replacement oil pump for some of these engines, to stop the oil leak. Dealer should have service bulletin with year and serial number of the engines needing this pump replace.
