oil pressure cut-off swich, wire broken

4.3 LXGEN+ 98. would this keep it from starting? the ear the wire connects to is broken off, need part #. purple/yellow.

That switch is what runs the fuel pump when you stop cranking. Depending on how it's wired and which part broke, yea, it could cause the problem. That switch is #5<br /><br />

yes, #5, purple yellow wire, the ear the clip connects to is broke off, do you have a part#, for a new cut off switch, can't find on merc express.

For Testing Purposes,.....<br /><br />Just connect the 2 wires at the switch,+ By-pass it,.......<br />Then it'll Start,+ Run.....
