128 oz. per gallon x 6 gallons = 768 oz.

768 oz. gasoline per 16 oz. oil comes out to
48 parts gasoline per 1 part oil or
48:1 (ok, let's call it 50:1)

Wal-mart has a cool mixing bottle makes it ez as 123. It cost about $1.97

You will find it in sporting goods in the boat stuff. It has a scale that you measure the oil in and you just add it to so many gallons of fuel

He's right on the money.. pour in the oil to the mark for the mix ratio you want, then pour into your tank and mix... simple as 1-2-3 and almost foolproof. Takes all the guesswork outta mixing gas, and it's marked in good ol' U.S. of A. as well as Metric markings d

I pour 8 ounces into my tank and add 3 gallons gas

3 gallons = 384 ounces
384 / 50 = 7.68 ounces oil for 50:1 ratio
384 / 8 = 48:1 ratio... err on the side of oil not petrol!

Sunoco makes TCW3 oil in 32 oz bottles. I buy them locally from a discounter for $2 a bottle! He bought a large stock of it not knowing it wasn't regular motor oil and he cannot get rid of it!

So...
From an empty tank...
32 oz oil in the tank ... add 12.5 gallons and my tank is FULL.
I have almost perfect 50:1 mixture.
